Dr. Faisal Khan is a biologist and an entrepreneur working at the intersection of science and innovation. He is the founding Director of the Institute of Integrative Biosciences (IIB), at CECOS University, Peshawar. In search of impact on the ground, Dr. Khan is leading pioneering efforts in the area of synthetic biology and bio-entrepreneurship in Pakistan. He holds a Ph.D from the University of Oxford in Cell Biology and Systems Biology. He is also closely working with the provincial government being a member of the KP IT Board the Advisory Committee at the Directorate of Science and Technology and the newly established Higher Education Research Endowment Fund, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
