What is Holistic Science Teaching Fellowship
The Holistic Science Teaching Fellowship was designed to transform how science is taught by educators to move beyond rote learning and disciplinary silos. The program encourages teachers to integrate history, philosophy, ethics, and religion into their science classrooms, fostering critical thinking, curiosity, and deeper student engagement. At its core, the fellowship aims to nurture reflective educators who can make science more meaningful and connected to real life for their students.
What Sets HSTF Apart?
Holistic Science Teaching is not just a workshop – it is a Fellowship that commences with a 4+1 day Physical (hybrid) or fully online workshop delivered by leading science educators and professors in-person via Zoom, followed by individual and collective feedback and capacity building sessions, and a guided 3-month implementation in the classroom leading to a certification. Exemplary Teachers can take an advanced Master Trainer Program to further upskill.
